Classic Mint & Lemon Refresher

Classic Mint & Lemon Refresher

CLASSIC. FRESH. ZESTY.
A classic for a reason, this timeless combination of summer soaked flavours of zesty lemon and invigorating mint is quick and simple to prepare.

Lemon, known for its tangy and bright taste, is a fantastic source of vitamin C and antioxidants. It helps boost your immune system, aids digestion, and adds a refreshing twist to any beverage. Paired with the cooling and aromatic properties of mint, this classic combination creates a drink that not only cools you down but also uplifts your senses.

While some combinations need infusing, this is perfect whizzed up in a blender, strained and enjoyed immediately over ice or chilled for drinking over a few days. If you’re in a hurry, this is a great go to hydrator.

INGREDIENTS
1/4 of a lemon flesh and rind. (or use 2 tsp juice)
2 sprigs mint (about 12 leaves)
800ml filtered water
extra water to top up to 1.2l, or ice to same volume

INSTRUCTIONS
Put the lemon and mint in a blender or bullet.
Add 800ml water
Bliz for 30 seconds or until completely blitzed.
Strain through a sieve.
Top up to 1.2l with water or ice.
Drink straight, or bottle for later.

NOTES
Lemon can be substituted with lime, for a mojito twist.
This infusion keeps well for about 3 days in the fridge.
